Premio Fuoriclasse 2008

The leading lady in many Italian comedies and then in a series of more mature and demanding films, in which she showed her extraordinary acting ability, without so much as a flinch at appearing older and, often, uglier due to screenplay requirements.

She has won a number of awards, including the Prix d’Interprétation Féminine at the Cannes Festival. She died on 18th December 2014.

On Saturday 6th December 2008, in the elegant setting of Piazza dei Signori, Virna Lisi was named winner of the 2008 Premio Fuoriclasse Award in front of the local authorities.

A woman who knew how to make a name for herself in show business thanks to her wonderful talent, and who has always been a symbol of elegance and style. Virna Lisi, a real lady of Italian cinema.

The city of Treviso had the honour of greeting this great actress, whose acting skills, sensitivity and beauty meant that she was able to play any kind of role: from Italian to American comedies, from the dramatic genre to thrillers, winning numerous international awards.
